The drawing function of the electronic cutting machines such as Silhouette or Cricut is a powerful tool for creative minds. With the ability to draw any design you can imagine and then cut it out, you can take your crafting to a whole new level. Single line sketches are perfect for scrapbooking, card making, or wall art. The Silhouette and Cricut machines provide the precision and versatility you need. And with the added bonus of being able to add metallic foil accents, your designs will truly stand out. So if you’re looking to elevate your crafting game, sketch pens and Foil Quill are a must-have in your toolkit!
If you don’t know what a Foil Quill is, here is a quick note. Foil Quill is a crafting tool that allows you to add metallic foil accents to your projects. It works in conjunction with a cutting machine, such as the Silhouette Cameo, to apply foil to your designs. The Foil Quill has a heated tip that melts the foil and transfers it onto your paper or cardstock, adding a beautiful, shiny touch to your creations. With the ability to choose from a variety of foil colors, you can add a touch of sparkle to any project, making it a must-have tool for anyone who loves crafting and adding a touch of luxury to their designs.

Recently I’ve got an email from a lady asking me how I draw my sketches for the Silhouette Design Store. I have a bunch of them in my store. And the last one was uploaded in 2020. Back then I was using Wacom Bamboo tablet and Adobe Illustrator and I must confess it wasn’t easy for me. It was unusual and not quite comfortable to sketch on a tablet while looking at my screen. I know people make amazing things on Bamboo but this was not my way ))
So I’ve made a little research and downloaded Affinity Designer 2 app. Long story short you can save your sketches as SVG! That’s all what I was looking for. If you’re interested in designing single line sketches give AD2 a try. It has one month free trial, no card info need for that. It’s not an add or affiliate program 🙂 I just want to share some useful information with you.
And I have a little gift for you. Please PERSONAL USE only, thank you!
Happy crafting!
