Hey, crafty friends! Today, I have a super fun and creative project for you – a 3D paper Easter egg lantern! This is a perfect DIY decoration for Easter. Whether you’re decorating your home, setting up an Easter table, or looking for a unique handmade gift, this lantern will add a magical touch. Let’s get started!

Materials You’ll Need:
- Cardstock (Preferably 200-250 gsm) – I prefer white for this project, but you can choose pastel or bright Easter colors.
- Cutting Machine (Cricut, Silhouette, or any other that supports Silhouette Studio, DXF or SVG files).
- Glue or Double-sided Tape – For assembling the parts.
- LED Tea Light – To safely light up your lantern.
- Tweezers – Optional but helpful for intricate parts.
- Ribbon or Twine – For hanging your lantern (optional).
Step 1: Download and Upload the Cutting File.
Once you have it, open your cutting machine software (Cricut Design Space, Silhouette Studio, or Brother CanvasWorkspace). Upload the Easter egg lantern SVG file and make sure the design fits your cutting mat. Adjust the size if needed.
Step 2: Add a Light & Decorate
Now for the fun part! Place an LED tea light inside the egg to create a warm and cozy glow. You can also add embellishments like ribbons, paper flowers, glitter, or stickers to personalize your lantern. If you want to hang it, punch a small hole at the top and attach a string or ribbon.
Step 3: Display Your Easter Lantern
Your beautiful 3D paper Easter egg lantern is ready! Place it on a table, in a windowsill, or hang it as a decoration. It’s a perfect way to bring a festive vibe to your home.
