- Choose and Download the Design
Start by selecting one of my giant paper snowflake SVG files, which include detailed and intricate patterns. You can find these files on Silhouette Design Store. - Cut the Pieces
Upload the cutting file to your cutting machine software. Make sure to adjust the size for the snowflake—giant versions typically range from 12 to 24 inches in diameter. If you’re using Silhouette Studio, ensure your settings are optimized for cardstock. - Assemble the Snowflake
After cutting the pieces, use glue or double-sided tape to assemble the snowflake. Adhere 4 parts together. This approach makes even the largest snowflakes easy to cut and put together. - Customize and Decorate
Before hanging, consider adding a personal touch, such as glitter, or semi-beads. - Hang Your Snowflakes
Attach string or fishing wire to the back and hang them from the ceiling, walls, or windows. You can even group them for a dramatic effect.
As you can see the snowflake has 4 parts, and 1 part fits the 12×12 paper (30x30cm). If you want to make it smaller, just select all 4 parts and scale them down.
