Hi everyone! I have another layout to share with you that I created for ScrapUA.com blog before Artem was born. It looks like it was ages ago. You know I adore watermelons! And I combined this love with another my crush – watercolour. I took this picture the day we bought Lera a new kids purse in a shape of watermelon slice.

At first I made some pink strokes with big flat brush. After that added a piece of green paper which matches the colour of the grass in the photo.

This is the roses background which I cut on my Cameo. You can find it on Silhouette Online store – Design ID #133943. I also made a roses stencil (Design ID #133859), which is the redesign of this background. Follow this LINK to learn how to cut stencils on your Silhouette machine.

The watermelon slice is also painted with watercolour. I added some stitching at the top and at the bottom of the layout.

I decided to hand script the title. It’s quite easy and there is no need in thickers ))
