I fell in love with quilling! My second project using the quilling techniques. It’s 30 x 40 cm (11.8 x 15.7 in). I made it for the blog Lesia Zgharda Design where I’m a guest designer this week. Well, it took me nearly 15 hours to make this canvas 🙂 till neck pain appeared )) We will celebrate the Independence day this Sunday (August the 24th).
At first I made a draft on paper, then in Silhouette Studio. After that I cut the trident, triangles and words on my cutting machine.
It took me 4 hours to make the Tryzub (trident).
I added yellow and blue watercolours on my canvas to imitate our national flag. After that I started to build my composition. Yes, I know I’ve made two drafts (paper and digital) but in the end it appeared I have not this much space to work with. So I left only two blue rhombus on the right side.
