This year holidays are unlike any others. Let’s use this excuse to get every inch of our home into the holiday spirit. This huge gorgeous paper acorn will become a great addition to your festive decorations. Place it on a mantelpiece or a table, put some treats in it and send to your friends and relatives. You can also adhere the top to the bottom, make two of them and decorate your door for Thanksgiving.
This cut file is Cameo and Portrait compatible and available in Silhouette and SVG formats. The original size is 16 x 22 cm.
I usually use Canson pastel paper for my projects (especially 3D projects). I like it nice and soft texture. For the bottom of this acorn I used 300 gsm moss green paper. It’s a bit too thick as for me but the acorn will definitely last longer. The lid is cut of 160 gsm paper. It bends perfectly and holds its shape well.
