I always find that the simplest ideas can turn into the most beautiful paper crafts, and this wreath with 3D paper daffodil is one of those projects I truly enjoyed creating as a paper artist.
For this design, I wanted to capture that fresh, early spring feeling. The base is a soft, natural-looking wreath shape, cut from warm-toned cardstock, which gives it an organic, almost hand-woven look.

The highlight, of course, is the daffodil. I designed it as a 3D paper flower, with soft white petals and a bright yellow center that really stands out. This is where 3D paper art becomes so satisfying—you start with flat pieces, and suddenly you have a flower that feels full of life and dimension. Using a detailed paper flower SVG, it’s easy to build up those layers and create something that looks delicate but holds its shape beautifully.
I added a few simple leaves and small decorative elements to frame the flower without overpowering it. As a paper artist, I always try to keep that balance—letting the main 3D paper flowers shine while still creating a complete composition.
You can use this wreath as seasonal decor, a handmade gift, or even as part of a larger wall display with other 3D paper art pieces. And since it’s SVG cutting file, you can easily resize or adjust the colors to match your style.

3D Paper Daffodil Assembling
- Adhere the side tab on the yellow center to assemble a “tube” form. This is called “corona”.
- Add adhesive at the bottom edge of the corona and adhere it to the circle.
- Roll the piece with stamens, adhere it inside the yellow corona part that you’ve just assemble.

Happy crafting!
