Snowglobe Shadow Box Card Tutorial

This year I decided to design more Snowglobe box cards. The idea was to make something funny and cute. I know it’s only November. However I think making your own Christmas cards is a great way to start off your festive crafting.

*I can’t figure why I can’t embed the video tutorial from Youtube here in the post. I’ll hope to fix it. For now please follow the link to visit my Youtube channel and watch the assembly tutorial.*

Each snow globe box card has four layered panels, which are separate parts. This trick allows you to cut a larger card if you want to make it bigger. If you have a Cameo you’ll be able to cut a card up to 19 cm! tall. The cutting files are compatible with Portrait and Cameo.

The box card is 8.5×12 cm when standing and 12×12.5 cm when folded flat, so you can mail it easily or put inside a gift box or gift bag.

And if you are looking for more classic snow globe cards, here you are! These are my old designs from 2019. In this blog post you’ll find the assembly tutorial. These old ones are a bit different but as new ones are very easy to assemble. The card size when folded is 6.2 x 6.7
