I love how this paper macrame wall hanging svg design with poppy turned out—bold and dramatic. The base pattern is slightly denser, giving it a stronger visual presence, and I paired it with a large red poppy flower as the centerpiece. Around it, I layered daisies and warm-toned leaves and wheat ears to create depth. This one really highlights the beauty of 3D paper flowers and how they can become the focal point of your 3D paper art.
Before you start, just know that using ball styluses and chalks isn’t necessary. In some paper art, I prefer simply layering the pieces. In others, I like to add texture and dimension using these techniques—it really depends on the look I want to achieve.

Assembly tutorial
- Use a ball stylus with a small tip to add texture to each petal.
- Use a ball stylus with large tip to curve the edge of each petal.
- Use crafting chalks to add shades in the center of the poppy flower.
- Use the same ball stylus with small tip to add texture to the leaves. If you want you can also use dark green chalks for shading.

5. Use the chalks to add some soft shading to the poppy pod. Draw white lines with the white pencil.
6. Flip it over. Use the ball stylus to gently shape the piece.
7. Add the glue to both sides of the circles on the end of each leaf.
8. Bring all the leaves together by pressing them inside with both hands and glue the circles in the center.

9. Layer and adhere the petals.
10. Adhere the poppy center.
11. At this point, you can leave the top of the macrame design as it is if you like that look. Or, you can roll the top edge to create a holder for inserting a stick.

12. Layer the leaves, the wheat ears and the daisies.
Each daisy flower has two white parts with petals and one yellow strip to form the center. To form the daisy center – just roll the yellow strip and glue it in the center.

The whole composition is quite light so one pushpin is enough to pin it to the wall, even with the stick.

Happy crafting!
