This heart vase with field flowers box card pops up to reveal a beautiful bouquet of layered paper flowers growing from a bright heart-shaped vase. The vase is decorated with a cute bow, making the design extra sweet and playful. I’ve always loved making greeting cards that feel a little bit magical when you pop up them.
The colorful flowers and leaves create a fun 3D effect, making it a lovely surprise for the person receiving it. It’s perfect for sharing a little love and joy on special occasions. Even though the card pops up into a 3D display, it folds flat for mailing, so you can easily send it in an envelope or tuck it into a gift bag or gift box as a sweet surprise.

This elegant card works beautifully for many occasions. Perfect for:
- Valentine’s Day
- Mother’s Day
- birthdays
- anniversaries
- thank you cards
- or just to brighten someone’s day
Because of the layered flowers and the heart-shaped vase with a bow, the card feels unique and one of a kind. It’s something the recipient can keep on a desk or shelf as a small decoration.

How to Assemble the Heart VASe with field flowers box Card
Putting the card together is simple and fun. The design uses layered pieces that create the beautiful 3D bouquet effect.
Step 1 – Prepare the Flower Pieces
Cut all the flower and leaf pieces from colored cardstock.
Attach the smaller flower and leaf layers onto the larger flower bases to build each floral arrangement.
You will create three flower clusters that will sit inside the card.
Step 2 – Assemble the Flower Clusters
Glue the individual flower pieces together onto the heart-shaped bases.
You can make each cluster has some height using foam adhesive so the bouquet looks full and dimensional.
Step 3-4 – layer the bow
Layer the bow. Take the red heart piece and adhere it to the card front piece. Add the bow.

Step 5-7 – Prepare the Card inner Base
Fold the base piece along the score lines to create the box shape.
This folded base is what allows the card to collapse flat and pop open when displayed.
STEP 8 – adhere the front piece
Align the front piece with the inner base and adhere.

STEP 9 – back panel
Align the back panel with the inner base. The back panel has two small cut that will help you to put it in place easily.
STEP 10 – decorative panels
When the card base is ready just insert the inner heart panels into corresponding slots.
A Card That Becomes a Keepsake
One of my favorite things about this design is that it’s more than just a greeting card. When popped up, it becomes a small decorative bouquet that someone can keep on their desk or shelf. And when it’s time to send it, the card folds flat again, making it easy to mail or add to a gift. A little paper bouquet like this is a lovely way to share a bit of joy, love, and creativity with someone special.
Happy crafting!
