If youâre looking for a beautiful Christmas project thatâs quick to assemble but still looks absolutely magical, let me show you my new Christmas Tree Lantern SVG. This design has become one of my favorites this season! Itâs delicate, festive, and the perfect little glow piece to add to your holiday decor. And of course, itâs super fun to make.
I created this lantern as a set of six detailed Christmas SVG panels that you can mix and match. Each one has its own story and mood, so you can build a lantern thatâs truly yours. Whether youâre a Cricut or Silhouette Studio user, this one cuts beautifully and comes together with just a bit of glue and a LED tea-light. A perfect weekend craft if youâre craving some cozy Christmas paper crafting time.

This Lantern Is Such a Fun Christmas Paper Craft
I love paper lanterns because they hit that perfect balance between âwowâ and âeasy.â When you turn the light on, all those tiny details suddenly glow, and it instantly feels like Christmas. If you enjoy DIY Christmas paper lanterns, or youâre collecting ideas for handmade decorations this year, this project is definitely one to try.
Plus, the lantern folds flat for storage, so you can keep it for next year. (Or make a whole forest of them!)
I’ve made a Christmas bundle with all 6 panels and a tree base.

But if you only need one or two panels for a smaller project, you can absolutely get them individually. I made each panel â and the tree base â available as separate Silhouette Studio cutting files, so you can pick exactly what you want without buying the whole set. Every panel has its own festive theme and personality, so let me walk you through each design and show you what makes them special.
